Hunter Biden’s emails to shared bank account could lead Joe to FBI investigation

President Joe Biden could be involved in the ongoing FBI investigation into Hunter Biden’s finances, according to experts reacting to emails allegedly discussing between Hunter and Joe sharing a bank account and one of Hunter’s business partners discussing of his direct access to Joe’s finances.

In a new article, the Daily mail highlights more emails from the infamous laptop that Hunter Biden dumped in a Delaware repair shop. In an exchange, first revealed by the New York Post, Hunter himself claims that he and his father both used a particular bank account. Columnist Miranda Devine wrote in July:

[D]the documents on the laptop suggest a mix of Joe’s finances with Hunter’s.

In an April 12, 2018 email to his assistant Katie Dodge, Hunter complains that he has been “kicked” out of one of his Wells Fargo bank accounts.

“Too many cooks in the kitchen. Too many profile changes and the like. It happened 10 days ago as well. . . My dad has used most of the lines on this account that I paid for through Eric’s gracious offers over the past 11 years.

Another email in the Daily mailThe new story shows Eric Schwerin, Hunter’s business partner who co-founded their Rosemont Seneca company, writing that he had personal access to an account owned by Joe, depositing a tax refund check there, and allegedly sending money. from this account to Hunter. The newspaper writes:

Emails from Hunter’s abandoned computer show that as early as 2010 Schwerin was involved in the vice president’s tax returns.

On April 9, 2010, Schwerin wrote to Hunter: “I dealt with JRB taxes all afternoon (but solved a big problem – so it was worth it).

On June 10 of that year he wrote: ‘Your father’s Delaware tax refund check arrived today. I deposit it in his account and send you a check for that amount since he owes it to you. Don’t think I need to lead it by him, but if you want to go ahead. Otherwise, I’ll drop off tomorrow. [emphasis added]

“It is not clear why Schwerin had this intimate role in the affairs of the vice president rather than government officials in the vice president’s office,” Daily mail notes reporter Josh Boswell.

The report goes on to question several financial crime experts, who say the emails could implicate President Biden in ongoing investigations into his son’s affairs.

“Whatever transaction you are looking at, if there is a connection to a family member or friend, the answer is of course yes. [they would be investigated]Said a former federal prosecutor and expert in money laundering and criminal tax law, who did not want the British newspaper to reveal his name.

The ex-prosecutor also said if money flowed between Joe and Hunter, Joe could be the “target of the investigation,” but it would be difficult for officers to sit down with the president. “Obviously, if you’re talking about the President of the United States, you better have one hell of a reason to talk to that person,” the ex-prosecutor said.

Former US intelligence officer and treasury special agent John Cassara, who Daily mail presents himself as “an expert in money laundering investigations,” said the presidency protecting Joe Biden from prosecution.

“The publicly available information is very worrying, especially in the areas of corruption,” Cassara told the newspaper. “They could go there in all different ways. Follow the trail of corruption, then indict money laundering.

Cassara also said that “corruption is a predicate offense for money laundering.”

“And in addition to corruption,” Cassara continued. “It’s the perception of corruption. This sort of thing shouldn’t happen. It undermines any confidence in the US government. It undermines trust and our international reputation. It is an embarrassment.

These expert opinions echo the analysis of the main contributor to Breitbart News and Profiles in corruption author Peter Schweizer, who claims that the Bidens’ “intertwined” finances are illegal.

“There are many examples [in the laptop’s emails] Hunter Biden is paying his father’s bills – which, by the way, is not legal, ”Schweizer told Fox News in September. “Politicians can get occasional gifts from family members, but you can’t subsidize a politician’s lifestyle. That’s what Hunter Biden does.

In July, Schweizer said it confirmed that Joe Biden “was a direct beneficiary” of Hunter’s trade deals with foreign interests.

“We have a copy, by the way, here at GAI of [Hunter Biden’s] laptop and all files, ”Schweizer explained. “This confirms that Joe Biden was a direct beneficiary.”

Ethical issues surrounding Hunter’s business relationships continue to plague the Biden administration. A September 27 report says Hunter Biden remains invested in an entity linked to Communist China months after Joe Biden claimed his family would divest from foreign business interests.

The White House said on Tuesday that “the president remains proud of his son” when asked about Hunter’s first art show in Los Angeles – where five amateur paintings sold for a total of $ 375,000. Despite assurances that buyers would remain anonymous, Hunter mingled with potential customers at the show, flouting the city’s interior mask mandate.
