Hunter Biden, the son of US President Joe Biden, pleaded guilty to charges in his tax evasion case on Thursday as jury selection was about to begin.
Lawyers said the 54-year-old was prepared to plead guilty, acknowledging the likelihood of a conviction, but would maintain his innocence.
