Republican Sen. JD Vance, who has in the past praised Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s authoritarian response to academic dissidents, told “Face the Nation” that while he “doesn’t approve of not everything Viktor Orban has ever done,” the far-right leader made “intelligent decisions that we could learn from in the United States.”
