Hundreds come together in Long Beach to demonstrate President Trump and Elon Musk

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in downtown Long Beach for a “not my president” rally on the day of presidents to protest against the Trump administration and the role of Elon Musk in IT.

Apart from the town hall, demonstrators made a sign of American and Mexican flags and homemade panels with messages such as “Trump lace”, “Felon + Elon = betrayal” and “I saw smarter cabinets in Ikea ”.

The demonstrators declared that they were dismayed by the burst of the decrees of the president that President Trump signed since he took office last month, in particular those aimed at revising the country’s climatic policies, the system of immigration and reproduction rights.

“I strongly support myself of the majority of what the current administration represents,” said Amanda Salemi, 40, who held a sign that said “people on profit” and had a large rainbow flag nest in the pocket of his pants.

“I believe in democracy, not in fascism, not a sovereign or a king,” said the director of commercial operations at Long Beach. “Our country is at risk and I’m looking for how I can get involved.”

Denise Titanich and Esther Duran, 73 and friends from high school, arrived with lawn chairs after receiving text alerts on the event.

“It’s been a long time since we have protested – like the Vietnam War,” said Trutanich. “I am so oppressed by all this. I feel like I go back.

During the first two hours, activists delivered short speeches while motorists who passed Klaxon. Anthony Bryson of Socal Uprising, who helped organize the rally, led the crowd through several cycles of: “Hey Hey, Ho Ho, Donald Trump had to go. Hey Hey, Ho Ho, Elon Musk must go.

The demonstrators started walking along Ocean Boulevard in Mid-Afternon, with an enhanced animated arguments as they met Trump vocal supporters on the road to almost two miles. Two women on a balcony draped an American flag and a red banner with the words “Trump 2024. Bring America closer” to the balustrade.

Like many of those who have joined the rally, Duran expressed contempt for the highly publicized role of Musk as “employee of the special government” at the Ministry of Effectiveness of the Government, which aggressively reduced spending and reduces jobs in Federal agencies.

“Who is Elon Musk to even have a position?” Said Duran, who held a sign that said “Elon must go.”

One of the many similar demonstrations across the country on Monday. In California, demonstrators also gathered in downtown Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento and Camallo.

Many events have been set up by the 50501 movement, a group of basic organizers aimed at “maintaining the constitution and ending the exaggerated executive”.
