Huge explosion rocks Tel Aviv in the middle of the night

A powerful explosion rocked Tel Aviv on the night of Thursday to Friday, in the midst of the war with Hamas.

Fox News foreign correspondent Trey Yingst was at the scene and shared an X-rated video of himself standing on broken glass that had shattered on a storefront across the street.

Yingst reported that emergency crews were checking a partially residential area to see if anyone was injured in the blast.

“I’m very cautious about the details,” Yingst said, adding that he had not yet been able to speak to sources because it was already late at night. “We’re trying to determine what exactly happened.”

According to a statement from the Israeli army, “a preliminary investigation indicates that the explosion in Tel Aviv was caused by the fall of an aerial target, and no siren was sounded. The incident is being thoroughly examined.”

He added in a later message that a photography store across the street from the US embassy was damaged in the blast, calling the scene a “very fluid situation.”

A police spokesman said: “A short time ago, the police hotline received a report of an explosion heard in a building in Tel Aviv. Large forces from the Tel Aviv District Police and police bomb disposal experts arrived at the scene and are handling the situation.”
