HSBC’s mobile banking app is down, leaving thousands of customers unable to access their accounts.
Customers took to social media to express their anger after the app crashed this morning.
More than 2,800 users have reported issues with the app, according to DownDetector.
Taking to X/Twitter, one user said: “HSBC, did you know your online banking is not working this morning?
Another said: “What’s happening with online services, can’t authorize a payment, can’t access a website, app or online systems?
HSBC said on X/Twitter: “Some customers are currently experiencing difficulty accessing online and mobile banking services as usual.
“We are truly sorry and are investigating urgently. We will share an update as soon as possible.
