HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville Police Department arrested a man after a high-speed chase that ended in a crash with two police cars Sunday afternoon.
The chase ended at the corner of Poplar Avenue and Arctic Street around 3 p.m.
Huntsville police believed the driver was a suspect in an earlier chase.
HPD officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 72.
The man led authorities through a residential neighborhood where the cruisers rammed the car to end the chase.
Police say multiple charges are expected.
