Now it’s the turn of the United States men’s national team to begin their Copa America journey.
With Argentina and Mexico among the winners in the opening matches of the group stage, it will be imperative for the United States to start strong as well.
Even though knockout tournaments follow the cliché that “it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish,” the United States needs to build momentum now before matches gradually increase in difficulty.
The first place in the group is South American Bolivia, which will try to play the surprise card. Here’s what you need to know to watch the USMNT-Bolivia Copa America opening match:
The United States and Bolivia will play on Sunday, June 23.
The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.
AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, will host the game.
FOX will broadcast the game in English. Univision and TUDN will broadcast the game in Spanish.
According to the latest FIFA international men’s team rankings on June 20, Bolivia ranks 84th, one place higher than the last edition. For comparison, the United States is in 11th place, which is the same as in the last edition.
