One of the world’s biggest music festivals is back this weekend in the southwest of England, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss it if you haven’t managed to get a ticket. We’ve got everything you need to know about where to watch a free Glastonbury live stream wherever you are in the world.

This year’s headliners are Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA. Shania Twain will also be one of Sunday’s biggest attractions. Unlike most major music festivals with world-famous line-ups, Glastonbury has an excellent tradition of free broadcasting on several BBC channels in the UK. The BBC iPlayer’s online coverage is even wider, with multiple scenes broadcast at once – you’ll also be able to watch the performances on demand afterwards.

If you are outside the UK, you will generally not be able to access the iPlayer streaming platform. However, we can show you how to live stream Glastonbury from anywhere like a local via a VPN (virtual private network), allowing you to use the iPlayer website as if you were in the UK.

How to watch Glastonbury in the UK

Coverage is spread across multiple BBC TV channels throughout the weekend. That red button will likely be there too, giving you even more options. All of these channels and more will also be available on BBC iPlayer, which is probably your best chance of seeing more niche acts, as TV channels will be opting for the most popular acts. Naturally, full sets from headliners Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA will be broadcast live on TV and online.

What if you’re not in the UK?
