Have you ever wanted to host “Saturday Night Live” but were never asked because you’re not an A-list celebrity?

Well, your prayers have been answered (kinda). With an immersive experience taking place at New York’s Rockefeller Center, NBC is giving fans the chance to “feel what it’s like” to host the revered sketch comedy series, now in its 50th season.

Running Thursday, Jan. 30 through Sunday, Feb. 2, “Live From New York: The SNL50 Experience” will make everyday people feel like stars, “the thrill of hearing your name announced as you walk through the stage doors to roll your chair to the Weekend Update desk.

According to NBC, “Each participant will experience both the on-camera magic and off-camera rush of ‘SNL’; with surprises and callbacks around every corner that celebrate 50 years of famous sketches and the signature spontaneous nature that has defined the series since 1975.”

The experience is free and open to the public, with reservations operating on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Tuesday, January 14 at 12 p.m. PT. Claim your place on the “SNL” stage here.

“The SNL50 Experience” is just one of many ways NBC is celebrating the 50th anniversary of “Saturday Night Live.” A four-part documentary series from director Morgan Neville, titled “SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night,” will be released on January 16. A special documentary, “Ladies & Gentlemen…50 Years of SNL Music,” by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and Oz Rodriguez, will premiere on January 27. And a three-hour, celebrity-filled primetime special, recorded live from Studio 8H, will take place on February 16.
