The Steelers responded to angry fans after the team received complaints concerning the Rudolph Mason quarterrière and the special teams, Captain Miles Killebrew, attended a rally organized by President Donald Trump in West Mifflin, Penn. Last week.

The appearance led to a rapid reaction from fans and seasonal subscription holders, and prompted the organization to send an email explaining that the players, old and current, “make their own individual decisions”, The Post-Gazette Pittsburgh reported.

Trump was in Pennsylvania for a rally at the American steel plant in West Mifflin, and the former Great Rocky Bleier des Steelers also joined the trio on stage.

As a appreciated fans, your voice is an essential element of what makes our Steelers community and our fans base so strong,” said email. “We understand that a recent Pittsburgh gathering has generated a range of reactions from our fans base. Our alumni and current players make their own individual decisions that reflect their point of view, and they do not necessarily represent the opinion of the entire Pittsburgh’s Steelers organization.

“Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. We appreciate your passion and your continuous support from the team.”
