The Neale Daniher football legend, which courageously fights against motorcycleur disease, has been able to use its own voice for the first time in years, thanks to a new form of technology.
Melbourne’s former venerated coach received a diagnosis of illness in 2013 and lost the ability to speak, but is able to communicate thanks to the technology of the gaze.
Users can control computers and communication devices with the movement of their eyes.
During communication, the system had previously projected Daniher’s voice in a robotic format.
But now, using artificial intelligence and some of the old press conferences from the media of Footy Great, the system is capable of communicating using its own voice.
“It’s much better than the voice of the robot I had, but I don’t sit down to listen to myself all day,” Daniher told Channel 7.

His wife Jan added that she had been “Gobsmachea” when she heard Daniher’s communication system talking by using her voice for the first time.
The Australian of the year 2025 should now make the trip to Australia-Western alongside his wife Jan and his son Luke. They should conduct hand passage in hand for inclusion on the Matagarup bridge before the Fremantle Channel 4 match against Western Bulldogs.
“This raises awareness of people with disabilities and the problems they have just in their normal life,” said Jan.
“I hope there is a very large crowd that will support him on Sunday.
“Neale has done incredible job in the past 10 years. He is very determined and very passionate obviously by the fact that he can while he is alive.
“We are very proud of what he was able to achieve with the help of so many people in Australia, because without their support, we would not be where we are today.”
Neale added: “We know how strong and concerned the football community is and how it links people together for large causes.”
