Rising rising star Roberto Campos has credited Taylor Swift’s music for helping him with the linguistic barrier after moving to the United States.
The 21-year-old revealed that learning English was one of his difficulties by moving to the United States in adolescence.
However, Campos spoke with the Free Press Strait on March 5 without interpreter and thanked American Pop Music for his progress. In doing so, he filed the name of the winner 14 times.
“Thank you, Taylor Swift,” Campos said with a smile in Detroit Tigers spring training in Lakeland, Florida.
Campos was 13 years old when he moved from Cuba to continue his dreams of becoming a professional baseball player.
