Nick Viall And Nathalie Joy keep their love on top.
After the newlyweds are forced to cut short their romantic getaway to the Turks and Caicos Islands due to problems with Natalie’s passport, Nick and Natalie don’t let the debacle spoil their honeymoon phase.
“It was our first test of adversity as husband and wife,” Nick exclusively told E! News. “We were reminded of the importance of focusing on what really matters: supporting each other and protecting our families.”
As the Viall Files host noted: “We felt safe in a difficult situation.”
After their wedding ceremony on April 27, Nick and Natalie, accompanied by their 2-month-old daughter River and Natalie’s mother – were forced to return to the United States just hours after arriving at their honeymoon destination due to a tear in Natalie’s passport.
And while the couple, who detailed the fiasco in an episode of THE Viall Files– had to cut short their initial plans, they are preparing to do it again in the coming weeks – probably in Puerto Rico, Nick explained – and plan to bring back River and Natalie’s mother.
