Forget judging “America has a talent”.
Simon Cowell once offered $ 150,000 to judge a random couple with sex – but the personality of franc television refused.
Cowell, 65, remembered the bizarre test of the Wednesday episode of the Podcast “How To Fail” while approaching other strange offers that he has been presented over the years.
“People asked me to be rude with them,” said the competition judge, admitting that he had closed these requests – but his refusals did not stop there.
“Then, once, I was in a restaurant and this guy approaches me and he said:” I love your show. Do you want to take a photo? (I say), “of course,” said Cowell, revealing the foreigner, then presented his wife and asked the former “American idol” if he “judged sex”.
He thought the couple joked, but he quickly discovered that they were serious.
“I am, like” do you make me the end? ” They said, “No, we will pay you,” recalls the star.
Cowell admitted that he had marinated the idea, especially when the couple told him how ready they were paying.
“(I said):” Well, how much? “It was actually a lot of money.
“It was so weird,” he shared about their proposal.
Cowell explained that despite his bad television character, he actually likes a random conversation with foreigners – but only sometimes.
“It is something that I really appreciated, however, strangely. I am very shy, like, I cannot go to a pre-party. It is my worst thing in the world, to do a little conversation with someone I do not know. If we have a common subject, I am quite good, but there are years, if I had to go to a party … and that we had to speak to people,” he said on the podcast.
His fiancée, Lauren Silverman, is however the professional of the little conversation, according to Cowell.
“Now Lauren (Silverman, my fiancée) is brilliant in these posts. I am hopeless. Joan Collins organized a birthday party and I said to Lauren:” I’m going to go, but we have to time it, “he continued.
Cowell asked Silverman in December 2021 after eight years of meetings.
The couple shares a child, his son Eric, who was 11 years old in February on Valentine’s Day.
Cowell made the headlines months ago when he broke his silence at the death of Liam Payne after the deadly fall of the former of his hotel in October.
The judge “The X Factor UK” brought together the group of boys he created – including the Harry Styles members, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik – during the Payne funeral.
After Payne’s shocking death, Cowell published an emotional statement.
“You never really know what you think of someone until a moment like this occurs,” he wrote on Instagram. “Liam, I am devastated. The broken heart. And I feel empty. And I want you to know how much love and respect I have for you. Each tear I shed is a memory of you. ”
