The way we dressed every morning is as personal as possible. There are rehearsals of outfits, vintage treasure hunters and even emotional convenients. But while everyone likes a good fashion trend, here to Instyle, We are also interested in deeper things: the way jewelry makes us feel, the way a beloved coat can trigger joy on a cold day, the way a pair of shoes can bring together a whole look. How I dress unpacking fashion routines, rituals and Go -Tos – directly from manufacturers of fashion tastes that we love.
Beauty without effort and timeless elegance are at the heart of everything Aerin Lauder does. As a founder and creative director of her luxury lifestyle brand, Aerin, Lauder rides the worlds of fashion, beauty and house design. At Aerin, you are just as likely to find a heritage plate like a used dress of used or your new favorite perfume. The brand’s offers are inspired by art, the natural world, and more, but the line by the line is impeccably taste.
Good taste was the heritage of Lauder. She comes from a family of passionate art collectors – her father, Ronald Lauder, founded the Neue Galerie in New York, and her mother, Jo Carole Lauder, has worked with the Museum of Modern Art for more than five decades and has produced several documentaries. Before launching its eponymous brand, Aerin spent 25 years in Estée Lauder, the cosmetics giant, his grandmother Estée founded. A love of united flowers The three generations of women, a feeling that E derin continues today.

The flowers are in the heart of many Aerin perfumes, frequently decorate Lauder’s clothes and decorate its houses in Manhattan, East Hampton, Panama and Palm Beach. They are also the subject of his new book, Live with flowers, An unlimited source of inspiration to use flowers in entertainment and decoration. Philosophy consists in making every moment special, even browsing the most commonplace setting with beauty. This spirit is reflected in the personal style of Lauder, which is elegant and high, whatever the frame, reflecting a timeless distilled through generations.
“When I look at photos of myself, I am very, very coherent. Throughout the university, my work experience and even today,” says Lauder. Then and now, she reaches articles like a large blazer, black pants, a black turtleneck and gold accessories again and again. It is a formula that works, allowing Lauder to clear the beauty effortlessly wherever it is. Now on tour of books and preparing for a scent launch, she takes her global formula, having translated it for recent trips to Paris, Milan and Madrid.
To celebrate the release of his book, Aerin Lauder sat with Instruction To discuss her most worn objects, the parts are transferred from her grandmother (and those she wants to transmit) and her reflections on recent trends.

His style in three words
Timeless, feminine, elegant.
His approach to red carpet
This is where I like to have fun more and do something more unexpected. There is something really beautiful in a simple black or white dress that I could wear with an interesting accessory like a superb pair of colored earrings or an evening bag. But I also think that in the evening is the moment when you can play with a fun floral or a beautiful unexpected color. This tends to be where I take more risks.
How she thinks of trends
I think the very kind of goth, not very enough trend is something to which I have never reacted or answered. I think there is a return to greater elegant and timeless sensitivity. There is really a return to red lipstick, red nails. And I think there is something really pretty in a very feminine, timeless and elegant look. You see this a lot with different parades. Prada has done such a good job, with gloves and pretty sweaters. I think they really understand the modern woman.
When I think of the bag of the moment I love, it is this Romy cover (Mark Cross), and it was their archives. There is something really nice when a piece of archives returns, and is slightly modified, but it always has this wonderful look of old school and elegant.
His obsessions
I became a little obsessed Romy. They (Mark Cross) have made a satin version this year, and I have several colors. We have an Adelina wicker pocket that we have developed, which is great for summer, and I also have it in several colors.

How she style one year old flowers
I think there are brands like Giambattista Valli and Erdem who make beautiful fabrics and floral designs. And what is interesting is that, as the season changes, their palette too. There is something really beautiful in a winter floral by Erdem. He is brown chocolate, deep plums, black and marine. And then as the season changes, its colors also become clearer. And they also apply this floral concept to their accessories. Giambattista Valli has a beautiful bag with jewelry flowers on it, so you can participate in a way in the trend of flowers with just a simple accessory.

The clothes she has the most
I have a pair of Black Prada pants from which I never leave the house without when I go on a trip. I love a simple and timeless blazer. I think Christian Dior has a big cup. And a simple black turtleneck sweater, I wear them throughout the university. I wore them to high school. It was a bit of my look. And then I am still serious to them.
Why she loves jewelry
The jewelry is really fun. Whether it is an inheritance room of a mother or a grandmother, or a vintage room that you found in an antiquity shop, or a very contemporary room of a new designer, I think that jewelry really allows you to change a look. It is a great way to change a day by night. Gold accessories are perfect during the day, then superimpose them at night becomes much more dramatic.
It’s fun to wear superb earrings. There is a lot of this return to the beautiful declaration documents in an unexpected color, or simply something that evokes fantasy and pleasure. The jewelry allows you to play and discover.
How the trip inspires its style
I really change my style and my look according to where I am, and also in office if I am somewhere for the holidays or for the work.
The Mediterranean is a place that I am always looking for for inspiration. We have a perfume called Mediterranean Honeysuckle, inspired by the Mediterranean. Colors, fashion, flowers, food, water, sensitivity, I think it is simply inspiring from all points of view. So I find that my style changes when I’m here, and I inspire myself very inspired by people around me.

Its essential airport outfit
Certainly, jeans. I love a flat and comfortable shoe. There is a Rome ballerina called the ball that I like. I live. I think they are fantastic. A really comfortable cashmere scarf, a sweater and a blazer. And there is a bridge jacket, which is now changed in Knatchbull – it’s my Go to Travel Jacket. It is a wonderful woman from London who created these tailor -made costumes. She said, you know, men should not be the only one who can have a personalized costume. Yeah. It was launched for the first time with this concept, and now it has been so successful that it is filtered in ready-to-wear which does not have to be ordered.
And a sweater vest. I always wear a sweater vest on the plane, which I think I obtained this tip from my father, which always wears a sweater vest, because in a way keeps you warm, but you are not too hot.
His hieromes
Handbags are something I have in my cupboard that seems to last forever, and I have a lot, many beautiful handbags that have been transmitted to me from my grandmother. She had a beautiful black kelly bag that I like. I recently brought it with me to Paris for my trip. And you know, beautiful and old gold fluffters, which for me, represents such a period in time. And they are just very glamorous and very old. They remind me of my grandmother.
I love collecting a beautiful fashion, whether accessories or clothes. And there are wonderful pieces by Jean Baptiste de Vale and Chloé, just emblematic dresses that just have a beautiful embroidery or a kind of detail. And I definitely save them to give someone special.

How art inspires it
I think museums are really inspiring. The money has just reopened in New York, and I’m going to go see him on Sunday. I was just in Prado this weekend, and just by seeing all these old masters, you see so much inspiration for design today from the past.
I love the old Spanish masters. By browsing the museums last week, their sense of details, flowers, fabrics, environments, they are so beautiful. Rothko’s color combinations are absolutely exquisite. It makes me start to think of projects on which I work, whether combinations of vase colors or objects. It can really vary. It could be anything.
His opinions on upcoming trends
I think it’s the return to color. Flowers and beautiful colors and unexpected colors are something that, I think, comes a trend.
And when you see things happening in the world, people want inviting and comfortable things. It is this concept of nesting. I come from Salone, a wonderful design fair in Milan, and that kind of wonderful experiences of comfort, patterns and comfort, I think it’s something that comes back.
