How does neonazism actually work, according to an old white supremacist

Arno Michaelis is a former white nationalist skinhead, principal singer of the neonazi metal metal group Centurion and member of Hammerskin Nation, one of the most violent white supremacist gangs in the United States.

From 1987 to 1994, Michaelis played a central role in the spread of neonazi ideology by music, street violence and recruitment efforts across the United States and beyond. His group sold more than 20,000 copies of his white supremacist albums in six months.

Michaelis provides a rare aspect in the world of violent extremism, detailing how white nationalist groups recruit young men, finance their operations and use propaganda to radicalize followers. He describes the brutality of life within the movement, the constant state of fear and paranoia, and how its involvement led to dependence, crime and self -destruction.

After leaving the movement, Michaelis became an activist, a speaker and an anti-hate author. He works with parents for peace to de -line extremists, exposing the tactics used by white nationalist groups and guiding individuals far from the influence of extremism by prevention. He is the author of “My Life After Hate” and “the gift of our wounds”, which was Coriigue with Pardeep Singh Kaleka, whose father was killed during the Sikh temple of Oak Creek.
