The American army would have narrowly avoided a complete disaster during the bombing campaign against the Houthis.
President Donald Trump launched an overwhelming air campaign against the Houthis in Yemen to bring the rebel group to stop shooting American ships.
The campaign lasted several weeks and consisted in rolling air strikes against the terrorists. The president announced last week that the Houthis had agreed to no longer shoot American ships in exchange for the bombing.
Trump accepted the offer, but there are now disturbing problems that have surfaced.

The New York Times published a long profile of the military campaign, and there is an incredibly worrying part:
Houthi’s air defenses almost killed an F-35 and other jets.
The New York Times reported the following:
“During these first 30 days, the Houthis shot seven American drones MQ-9 (around 30 million dollars each), hampering Central Command’s capacity to follow and strike the militant group. Several American F-16s and an F-35 fighter plane were almost struck by the Houthi air defensesMaking the opportunity of American victims, said several US officials. “”

The fact that the Houthis has struck an F-35 is incredibly worrying. The F-35 is a very advanced fifth generation fighter plane which is *SUPPOSED* Being able to escape the most advanced radar and air defense systems on the planet. More specifically, it is designed to overcome Russian and Chinese technology.
How devil the Houthis, who do not have very advanced air defense systems, probably undoubtedly struck the most stealthy fighter on the planet (the F-22 could be more stealthy, but it is a debate for another day)?
The Houthis exploit the defense systems Barq-1 and Barq-2, according to the war zone. These systems should never be able to detect stealth fighters. Even if they have done so, the way stealthy fighters escape fire is that weapons cannot maintain a coherent lock, which is 100% necessary to hire a stealth fighter.
If the poor Houthi aerial defenses can detect an F-35, whereas it is from China and Russia? Nor is it the first time that something like it happens. It has been reported that the Iranian or Russian defenses successfully locked up on an Israeli F-35 on Iraqi airspace during an attack in October against Iran. The Israelis should have drawn their missiles early and put hell back on security.

The public will probably never know all the details of how an F-35 was almost shot, but it would have been catastrophic if it had been. A massive recovery operation would probably have been launched to recover the remains before enemy forces, and returned it to China, Iran or Russia to try to feedback the stealth fighter.
We saw him play before. America once lost an F-35 in the Southern China Sea, and a race was underway to obtain it before the Chinese.
