Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (AP) – US air strikes killed at least four people on Sunday in the capital of Yemen, the rebellious capital Sanaa, said the Houthis Ministry of Health, while a bombing video published by President Donald Trump suggested that the victims of the global campaign are not higher than the rebels.
Sanaa strikes hit a house and injured 16 other people, the ministry said.

Earlier on Sunday, the Houthis supported by Iran said that the alleged US air strikes had killed at least two people overnight in a rebel bastion Saada and injured nine others. Images broadcast by the Al-Masirah satellite information chain of the Houthis have shown to collapse which seemed to be a two-storey building. The rebels did not broadcast any sequence from the interior of the building, which they described as a solar energy store.
The intense campaign for American air strikes targeting rebels on their attacks against expedition to the waters of the Middle East – linked to the War of Israel -Hamas – killed at least 69 people, according to figures from victims published by the Houthis.
The Houthis have not recognized any victim among their security and their military leaders – something disputed after an online video published by Trump.
Early on Saturday, Trump published what seemed to be a black and white video of a drone showing more than 70 people gathered in a circle. An explosion explodes during the 25 second video. A massive crater is left in its wake.
“These Houthis gathered for instructions on an attack,” said Trump, without offering a location or any other detail on the strike. “Oops, there will be no attack on these Houthis!” They will never pour our ships again! ”
The central command of the American army, which oversees military operations in the Middle East, did not publish the video or offered specific details on the strikes it has made since March 15. The White House said that more than 200 strikes had targeted the Houthis.
The news agency Saba under the control of the rebels in Yemen, citing an anonymous source, described the bombing as targeting “a social visit from Eid to the Governor of Hodeida”. Muslims around the world have just celebrated Eid al-Fitr at the end of the Muslim Fast Saint of Ramadan fasting. Saba had published images of other commanders meeting fighters during the holidays, but not senior high -level civil servants.
“The people present at this rally had no connection with the operations carried out by the (Houthis), which implement the decision to prohibit navigation on ships linked to the American and Israeli enemy,” said the Saba report, adding that the attack killed and injured “dozens”.
Previously, the Houthis recognized no strike on Hodeida during this period with such a high count of victims. Saba’s report did not describe people killed as civilians either, suggesting that they had links with the safety of rebels or military forces. Hodeida was a Houthi attack site in the Red Sea.
Moammar Al -Yani, the Minister of Information of the Exiled Government of Yemen opposing the Houthis, said that the strike had killed some 70 Houthi fighters and leaders, as well as “experts” of the Iranian paramilitary revolutionary guard. He did not propose any evidence for the complaint, although Iran supported the Houthis. Neither the Iranian government nor the guard recognized the attack.
Mohammed Al-Basha, an expert in the Basha Report Risk Advisory Yemen, cited opinions on social networks suggesting that a colonel supervising police stations for the Houthis in Hodeida had been killed in the strike that Trump stressed, alongside his two brothers.
“The strikes have developed considerably, hitting several governors simultaneously, alongside telecommunications infrastructure, command nodes, properties related to senior Houthi management and previously intact tunnel networks in mountainous areas,” Al-Basha told the Associated Press.
“We have also seen the direct targeting of Houthis force rallies, indicating a more aggressive and scalable change in the targeting strategy,” said Al-Basha.
An AP review revealed that the new American operation against the Houthis under Trump seems more extensive than those under former president Joe Biden, while Washington only goes to target the launch sites to shoot the classification staff and drop bombs in the cities.
The new air strike campaign started after the rebels threatened to start targeting “Israeli” ships again on Israel’s blocks in the Gaza Strip. The rebels have loosely defined what constitutes an Israeli ship, which means that many ships could be targeted.
The Houthis have targeted more than 100 merchant ships with missiles and drones, flowing two of them and killing four sailors from November 2023 to January this year. They also launched attacks targeting American warships without success.
The attacks considerably enhanced the profile of the Houthis, which faced economic problems and launched a repression targeting dissent and the workers of the Haps in Yemen in the midst of a decennial war that has torn the poorest nation in the Arab world.
The American campaign shows no signs of stopping, as the Trump administration has linked its air strikes to the Houthis to an effort to put pressure on its nuclear program quickly.
