The United States is hitting a Yemeni fuel port killed at least 80 people, Houthi rebels announced on Friday in the deadly attack in the 15-month Washington campaign against the group supported by Iran.
The strikes on Thursday on Ras Isa aimed to cut the supplies and the funds for the rebels which control the large expanses of the poorest country of the Arabian peninsula, said the American army.
The images broadcast by a television channel managed by Houthis showed large flames enlightening the night sky after the last in an intensified dam in American President Donald Trump.
Friday evening, Houthi’s media reported new strikes in the capital and around the capital.
Houthi’s Ministry of Health Ministry spokesman Alasbahi said the rescuers are still looking for bodies to the Red Sea fuel terminal, suggesting that the number of deaths could increase.
The Al-Masirah Rebelles TV, citing local officials, said the strike of the strike “reached 80 people and 150 injured”.
The Houthis then announced missile attacks targeting Israel and two American aircraft carriers. The Israeli army said on Friday that it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen.

“American military accumulation and the continuous aggression against our country will only lead to more counterattacks and attack operations, confrontations and confrontations,” military spokesman Houthi Yahya Saree said in the crowd in Sanaa.
‘Signal in Tehran’
Thursday’s strikes came while the United States is preparing to resume negotiations with Iran on its nuclear program in Rome on Saturday, following warnings that Tehran is getting closer to the construction of an atomic weapon.
“Military actions in Yemen clearly send a signal to Tehran,” said Mohammed Albasha, an American consultant, to AFP.
The US military hammered the Houthis with almost daily air strikes in the last month in order to eliminate their attacks against expedition to the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
Earlier Friday, when Toll Ras Isa was 74 years old, Alabashi said that the overall number of deaths by American strikes renewed since March was 198.
By claiming solidarity with the Palestinians, the rebels began to attack the key maritime road and Israeli territory after the start of the Gaza war on October 7, 2023, when their Palestinian ally launched a devastating terrorist in southern Israel.
They interrupted their attacks during a recent ceasefire agreement and release of the two-month hostages.

In a press release, the central command of the United States (CentCOM) said: “American forces have taken measures to eliminate this fuel source for Houthi terrorists supported by Iran and deprive them of illegal income which funded Houthi efforts to terrorize the whole region for more than 10 years.”
Al-Masirah TV, citing the port authorities, said that the attack had caused “significant damage” which “will affect navigation and oil supply”.
The American strikes began in January 2024 but multiplied under Trump, starting with an offensive that killed 53 people on March 15.
Images broadcast early Friday by Al-Masirah showed a fireball that sank off the coast while thick smoke columns exceeded what seemed to be an in progress.
The Houthi television channel then projected interviews with survivors lying on civilians, including a man with burns on his arms.

Shipping attacks
Israel made air strikes on Ras Isa and elsewhere in Yemen in January, describing targets as military infrastructure. Similar Israeli strikes which also included Ras Isa took place in September.
Iran described the latest American “barbaric” strikes, while Hamas denounced them as “blatant assault”.
The American bombing campaign intensified last month after Houthi threats to resume attacks on international expedition to protest against the blocking of aid from Israel to Gaza.
“The message today is undoubtedly: the United States targets not only Houthi military assets and staff, but also its economic infrastructure,” said Albasha.

The Houthi attacks against the Red Sea delivery route, which normally carries around 12% of world trade, have forced many companies to expensive detours around the cutting edge of southern Africa.
In addition, the spokesperson for the American State Department, Tammy Bruce accused the Chinese company Satellite Chang Guang Satellite Technology Company of “directly supporting” Houthi attacks against “American interests”.
Bruce did not initially provide details, but then referred to “a Chinese company providing satellite images to the Houthis”.
