Horrific moment car crashes into ultra-Orthodox Jewish pedestrians in ‘terrorist attack’, injuring three before suspects flee to Jerusalem

This is the horrific moment a car plowed into ultra-Orthodox Jewish pedestrians in a “terrorist attack” that left at least three injured before the suspects fled to Jerusalem.

Footage of Monday’s shocking attack shows two suspected “terrorists” speeding around the corner of Techelet Mordechai Street, Romema, as three Jews chatted on the corner.

A white car can be seen driving at a brisk pace before starting to veer onto the sidewalk where pedestrians are standing, unaware of what is about to happen.

Before the three individuals have a chance to leave their location, the car accelerates and drives towards them, where they are sent flying through the air.

Two of the Jewish pedestrians were thrown over the dashboard of the car, while the third was thrown sideways, towards a brick wall.

A white car can be seen in footage speeding down a Jerusalem road while three Jews stand on the side of the road and chat

The vehicle then crashes into the group, sending two flying over the dashboard.

The front of the vehicle was left in pieces following the brutal attack.

Suspected ‘terrorists’ attempted to open fire on Jewish pedestrians before gun jammed

After the terrifying collision, footage posted on X, formerly Twitter, showed the vehicle crashing into a bollard and tearing it off the ground as the front of the car collapsed.

The drivers then swerved into another parked car before getting out and attempting to open fire on the injured group.

One of the suspected “Palestinian terrorists” can be seen brandishing a makeshift “Carlo” submachine gun that appears to be jammed, police reported.

The two attackers hid behind a wall and hit the ground with their firearms, giving two of the Jewish pedestrians more time to flee the scene.

After a few moments of trying to repair their weapon, the suspects decide to throw it away while the two injured Jewish pedestrians appear to have disappeared.

Once the two armed attackers realize their victims are out of sight, they rush in the opposite direction, leaving their wrecked vehicle on the side of another car with both doors wide open.

A large number of police officers were dispatched to the scene to locate the attackers, with footage of the incident posted on social media showing five officers armed with rifles.

The local ambulance service said all three victims were “slightly injured” and police were still searching for the two attackers.

Footage taken at the scene this morning shows police arresting at least one man at the site of the car-ramming attack.

Palestinians have carried out periodic attacks on Israeli towns and villages since the start of the war against Hamas on October 7.

A man was arrested by Israeli police at the scene of the attack.

Israeli police were seen investigating the scene of the attack after the suspected “terrorists” fled the scene on foot.

The war was sparked by an unprecedented raid in southern Israel in which Hamas and other militants killed around 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and kidnapped around 250 hostages.

Israel says militants still hold around 100 hostages and the remains of more than 30 others.

Since the start of the war, violence has increased in the West Bank.

Over the weekend, funerals were held in the West Bank to commemorate 14 Palestinians killed in an Israeli raid on the Nur Shams refugee camp, and several dozen people were killed in the southern city of Rafah from Gaza, while a child was born an orphan.

The conflict, now in its seventh month, has sparked regional unrest pitting Israel and the United States against Iran and allied militant groups in the Middle East.

Israel and Iran have exchanged direct fire this month, raising fears of all-out war.

Earlier this month, Iran fired more than 300 drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles at Israeli targets from bases in Iran.
