This is the horrific moment an Ecuadorian beauty queen was gunned down by assassins in a restaurant just months after she was ‘discussed by drug traffickers in a secret chat’.
Shocking CCTV footage shows two armed men bursting into a restaurant in Quevedo, Ecuador, on Sunday as Landy Párraga Goyburo, 23, and another man stood at a table.
As the two men chat quietly, the woman can be seen peeking out the door window as her attacker sneaks into the restaurant without her noticing.
The former Miss Ecuador contestant then turned to the man she was speaking to before the armed men began charging towards them, guns drawn.
The first masked attacker quickly opened fire, shooting both Párraga and the man, before firing another series of bullets at the woman as she lay on the ground.

Horror CCTV footage captured the moment Párraga, 23, was chatting to a man in a restaurant moments before his attackers entered.
Masked assailants dressed in black clothing entered the restaurant and opened fire before fleeing, leaving Párraga dead on the ground in a pool of blood.
The second attacker stands guard near the restaurant door.
The two armed attackers then fled the scene, rushing out of the gate and into the street after committing their murder in broad daylight.
The former model can be seen lying motionless on the ground in a pool of her own blood, with a bullet mark visible on her right thigh.
Police are currently investigating the incident, working to uncover the motive and identify the attackers responsible.
Párraga was shot dead after being talked to cryptically by a drug dealer before her prison murder
Párraga was a former Miss Ecuador contestant, having represented the province of Los Ríos in 2022.
She had over a million followers on her social media accounts.
According to El Comercio, at just 23 years old, Párraga owned a household goods importer and ran his own sportswear line.
On her social networks, she shared the luxurious life she led, between trips around the world and meals in luxurious places.
But there was a darker truth behind the glamorous lifestyle depicted on social media.
In December 2023, his name was mentioned in a conversation made public by the Attorney General’s Office in connection with a major organized crime case it is investigating.
One of the 52 people prosecuted in this case is Helive Angulo, nicknamed “Estimado”.
In the chat, Angulo told drug trafficker Leandro Norero, whose assets he managed, that the police had asked him about Párraga.
Norero wrote cryptically: “If my wife finds out anything about him, I’m screwed.
“My friend, her name cannot appear anywhere. Otherwise, my world will collapse.
Norero was killed in prison in 2022, six months after his incarceration.
The money transfers made to Párraga’s bank account are under investigation by the General Prosecutor’s Office.
The office never prosecuted Párraga and she has never publicly commented on the case.
