Home featured in ‘Stranger Things’ goes up for sale in Georgia – NBC Chicago

A home that features prominently on one of Netflix’s most-watched shows is now up for sale in Georgia, drawing attention to a home that probably wouldn’t be blinded if it weren’t for the sci-fi drama fiction.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home featured in “Stranger Things” is now up for sale in Fayetteville, Georgia, with an asking price of $300,000.

Although set in a fictional Indiana town in the 1980s, the series is primarily filmed in Georgia, with the Stranger Things house blending seamlessly into the surrounding flat, wooded landscape.

The home includes 6.17 acres of land and has central air conditioning, according to its listing. It is located on a gravel road in Fayetteville, an Atlanta suburb with a population of just under 19,000.

“THIS is the original Byers house! This is the exact home of Will, Joyce and Jonathan Byers, just outside the fictional town of ‘Hawkins’,” the listing reads. “This house was featured throughout the show’s early seasons and remains a nostalgic focal point of the show.”

The listing notes, however, that house fans shouldn’t be “stuck upside down”, adding that she needs “a full rehab”. It also asks potential buyers to “please don’t feed the Demogorgens”.

Stranger Things premiered in July 2016 and has since aired 34 episodes across four seasons. A fifth and final season of the show is planned, although there is currently no scheduled premiere date.
