Holly Willoughby ‘fresh start’ – ITV offers mega-bucks for new ‘£8million’ mansion

Holly Willoughby is preparing for a “fresh start” in 2025, it has been reported. But what does she have up her sleeve?

The beloved TV presenter – who shares two children with husband Dan Baldwin – has had a tough 2024. In July, police uncovered a plot to kidnap, rape and kill her.

As a result, Holly took a step back from the spotlight – including leaving ITV’s This Morning after 14 years, amid a reported “feud” with co-host Phillip Schofield.

Now, with Holly returning to screens on Sunday January 5 for new series Dancing on Ice, it looks like 2025 has a lot in store for Holly.

It was recently reported that Holly shelled out £8 million for her new mansion. She left her £3 million London family home after her terrifying stalking ordeal last year.

The court sentenced the man allegedly behind the plot, Gavin Plumb, to life in prison in July. He will serve a minimum sentence of 16 years.

Now it’s claimed Holly has moved into a new seven-bedroom mansion worth £8 million, which she bought in July.

The Sun claims Holly and Dan are in the process of extending the property and adding extra security. The land registry documents also mention the absence of fees from lenders.

ITV’s three-show Holly deal

With Holly returning to screens for Dancing on Ice, it has been reported that ITV are keen to keep the TV star on their channel.

So much so that they reportedly offered him £1,000,000 to host three new series.

According to The Sun, Holly could win a full series of You Bet! and another Saturday night show, as well as a potential game show or quiz show.

“ITV bosses are trying to sustain their relationship with Holly, who they see as having launched and nurtured her career at the network,” a TV insider told the publication.

They added: “ITV bosses are trying to sustain their relationship with Holly, who they see as having launched and nurtured his career at the network.

“But they also understand that she has earned her place among the biggest stars of British television. And inevitably, rivals will make her offers – so they feel obligated to tempt her to stay.

“Of course, it’s up to Holly whether she accepts the ITV deal or starts considering her options elsewhere.”

An ITV spokeswoman declined to comment.

Holly Willoughby ‘feels like herself again’

In December, it was reported that Holly was ready to return to the spotlight and “finally leave it all behind.”

A source told OK! : “It’s been a pretty hellish year, what with the Gavin Plumber trial and the ongoing fallout with Phil, but she’s starting to feel like herself again.”

The source went on to say that this was “mainly due” to the support of her friends and family, who had “helped her through some dark times.”

Additionally, the source also shared that Holly is also looking forward to returning to work. They said: “People will see her doing different things, working with different co-stars. »

They also claimed: “Holly can’t wait to get back to doing her job and showing she cares. She is determined to never return to those dark days and feel as vulnerable as she did.
