Hingham Police are searching for the man who robbed a store at gunpoint

Hingham police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon while wearing a New York Yankees cap and medical mask.
Authorities, in a Facebook post, said the man walked into Richdale Grocery Stores at 185 Lincoln Street, brandished a semi-automatic pistol at the clerk and demanded money around 2 p.m.
“The suspect in the robbery is described as a white male, approximately 6’0″ tall, with a beard,” Hingham police wrote. “He was wearing a New York Yankees hat, a black jacket with a yellow zipper, black sweatpants and a surgical mask The man fled in an unknown direction after the robbery with an undisclosed sum of cash.
Police shared a photo of the suspect on social media.
