Hillary Clinton’s message about dogs in 2021 comes back to haunt Kristi Noem
Hillary ClintonThe old warning message about politicians and dogs resurfaced and went viral on X (formerly Twitter) this weekend after South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R) remembered of the murder of his puppy.
“Don’t vote for someone you wouldn’t trust with your dog,” former Secretary of State Clinton wrote in February 2021.

Noem is considered a potential running mate for former president and presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump.
In Noem’s new book “No Turning Back: The Truth About What’s Wrong With Politics and How We Move America Forward,” the governor described putting down her 14-month-old pointer named Cricket for being ” aggressive “.
The revelation sparked anger as critics suggested she could have had the animal rehomed. Noem, however, tried to make the murder an example of how she is willing to do the right thing, even when it’s difficult.
Internet users on X praised the insight of 2016 Democratic candidate Clinton:
This tweet went around the world for obvious reasons.
More than any other woman in *recent* political history, she has been right time and time again. And his insight has been largely ignored.
