Hilaria Baldwin says she was ‘bullied’ on Dancing With the Stars

Hilaria Baldwin takes two steps towards the haters.

Following its elimination last week from Dancing with the starsthe 41-year-old explained why she believes her and her partner Gleb Savchenko were launched from season 34 of the competition series.

“I was bullied off the show,” Hilaria said in an Oct. 12 statement. Instagram Livereferring to the criticism she received online throughout her four weeks DWTS. “I sure did it. That’s for sure.”

In fact, the The Baldwins star – who shares children Carmen11, Raphael10, Leonard8, Romeo7, Edward4, Marie-Lucie4, and Ilaria2 years, with husband Alex Baldwin– expressed her displeasure with negative comments online throughout her time on the ABC show.

“There’s a big problem online right now. It’s a big problem,” she told the season 33 winner. Joey Graziadei on the official podcast of the show immediately after his elimination on October 9. “We don’t see each other. We make enemies of each other. And I’m talking about my fellow women. The inhumanity of women to women. We have to stop. We’ll never get anywhere.”

Hilaria also used World Mental Health Day to address the “strategic and highly coordinated harassment” she experienced during her stay. Dancing with the stars.

“I would be remiss if I didn’t address the elephant in the room,” she said on October 11. Instagram video, “meaning there has been bullying against me over the past few weeks.”

“One of the most common things people say to me when they meet me – when they In fact meet me – that’s how surprised they are by the negativity I get,” Hilaria continued, “because in reality, I’m none of those negative things that some people say that break my heart.

The former yoga teacher also denounced “hate campaigns” which she considers a problem that affects people in contact with the public.

“They are taking lives and destroying mental health. It is tragic how endemic this behavior is and countless people are suffering daily,” Hilaria explained. “Some of the people who have harassed me for years, made false statements and outright lied about me. I know they won’t be satisfied until I’m gone. It seems like nothing I say or do will be right in their eyes.”

Despite the negativity, Hilaria appreciates her supporters who helped her get on the show.

“I am so grateful for this experience that I had Dancing with the stars” she shared. “I never thought I would dance again, and I have to thank you all for writing into the show and making this crazy experience possible.”

Hilaria added: “I’m so lucky to have been able to share this with my family. I loved everyone I met there and I’m so excited to be cheering on my cast mates.”
