The Angels are back in the Big Apple. The new and improved Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned to Brooklyn for the second year in a row on Wednesday. The runway was filled with returning models such as Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Jasmine Tookes, and first-time Angels including Angel Reese, Iris Law and Suni Lee, with performances from Madison Beer, Karol G, K-pop group TWICE and Missy Elliot. Can you believe the runtime was less than an hour?
Earlier this week, executive creative director Adam Selman continued The stint with Vogue podcast and said this year’s show would be powerful, fun and grounded in storytelling. Here are some highlights from the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Jasmine Tookes was the first Angel on the catwalk, showing off her visibly pregnant belly under a knitted mesh dress. Selman said Vogue that the show’s concept “starts in the morning and ends with black tie,” so think of this look — and walk — as a 5 a.m. wake-up call.
With four different performances, the floor was booked and packed with talent. Madison Beer was the first artist to take the stage beginning with a performance of “Make You Mine.” Next came K-pop group TWICE, who opened their set with their song “This Is For” and danced in fuzzy pink boots. Karol G marched without backup dancers, but was joined by a drummer midway through her performance. Missy Elliot was the last to perform, closing the show.
WNBA star Angel Reese and Olympic gymnast Suni Lee walked the catwalk, officially becoming two of the first professional athletes to be Victoria’s Secret Angels.
Many new Angels made their debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show tonight, including Barbie Ferreira, Quen Blackwell, Iris Law, Amelia Gray, Precious Lee and Emily Ratajkoski.
Bella Hadid showed off her new honey-colored hair during the fiery red section of the show. She shared the podium with her sister, Gigi Hadid, who made her VS podium debut ten years ago.
Adriana Lima has been freed from her gelled ponytail. Two weeks ago, Victoria’s Secret wrote in an Instagram Reel that they “solemnly swear not to straighten their hair,” and it appears they kept their promise. The track was once again filled with bouncy blowouts – although more elegant than in the past, there was no turning back in sight.
Patrick Schwarzenegger and Dylan Sprouse sat front row supporting their wives – Abby Champion, who made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut, and Barbara Palvin, respectively.
Some new VS pillars have returned to Brooklyn, including Alex Consani and Paloma Elsesser.
Two pairs of jeans were worn during the PINK section of the show. Is this a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for the first time?
Missy Elliot closed the show by performing a medley of hits, including “Get Ur Freak On” and “Work It” with a troupe of dancers. Maybe she’ll bring them all to the afterparty.
