HHS report recommends government to ‘encourage or mandate’ masking

A Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) report recommends that government officials “encourage or mandate” masking to combat “long COVID,” ideally after the end of the midterm elections.
The HHS report details policies for dealing with the Chinese coronavirus, which has now been around for nearly three years. One of the recommendations includes the reintroduction of masking, saying it will help those suffering from the lingering effects of their infection.
“The lifting of mask mandates and the indifferent attitude towards masking and social distancing typical in many public and private places further isolates people with Long COVID,” the report said, recommending that members of the government “to encourage or impose policies and protocols regarding masking and social distancing in public spaces.”

The recommendation follows the conclusion of the midterm elections and comes months after President Biden declared the pandemic “over.”
“The pandemic is over. We still have a problem with Covid. We are still working on it a lot. It is — but the pandemic is over. If you notice, no one is wearing a mask. Everyone seems to be in pretty good shape. And so I think that’s changing. And I think this is a perfect example of that,” he said in September.
The HHS report’s recommendation also follows the caution offered by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who warned earlier this year that leftists would reimpose mandates “if they feel the need to” after the conclusion of the US election. mid-term.

“The minute these elections are over, they will impose mandates if they feel the need. They will impose restrictions,” DeSantis said at a roundtable in March in Doral, Florida.
“And so it will happen. If these types of people are allowed to be put in power – my take on that is they put Fauci in the witness protection program because he’s going to say, you know, no, you should always wear a mask, and he will never say be normal, go back to normal. So they know that, and they know that’s not what people want,” he added, pointing out that it’s “wrong to mandate people and restrict people.”
“And it will happen. I guarantee you, in the winter of 2022, all these people who are there, you are going to see this happen,” he warned.
Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) is also among those who spoke.
“Biden’s HHS is again trying to implement mask mandates. Retweet if you can’t stand this nonsense anymore!” she exclaimed:
