Newcastle have seen the Manchester City academy graduate as a top target, but talkSPORT understands Chelsea look set to welcome his services.

And Blues fans already seem excited about his arrival after finding old posts on his X account raving about his soon-to-be new club.

Eden Hazard received plaudits from Adarabioyo, with his posts about the Belgian including fire emojis and one compliment in particular saying: “Danger is a problem.”

Fans even saw his reaction when Hazard cleverly left City defender Pablo Zabaleta on the pitch, saying: “I’m sorry Zabaleta but how are your groins feeling right now? #splits”

Chelsea’s 2012 Champions League final hero Didier Drogba was also praised after his winning penalty, with Adarabioyo saying: “Drogba is an absolute villain, I love him!”

Adarabioyo even found David Luiz’s antics against Manchester United funny after being fouled by Rafael in 2013, saying: “David Luiz is a bad guy, he’s laughing on the ground.”

As the messages resurfaced, Chelsea fans expressed their enthusiasm for the defender, with one on X saying: “He’s Proper Chels.”

“Bring him in now!” » pleaded a second.

A third added: “Okay, I’ve seen enough to take it home.”

“He knows the ball, take it to the Bridge,” said a fourth as Chelsea look to finalize the deal for their latest signing.

Former Manchester United star Wayne Rooney reveals John Terry was the toughest opponent he faced in football and explains what made the Chelsea defender world class.

Adarabioyo appears to be the first to arrive under Enzo Maresca, who is set to be announced as the new head coach.

The Italian will sign a long-term contract and replace Mauricio Pochettino in the Chelsea dugout starting next season.
