The prosecution and defense both submitted lengthy lists of potential witnesses they could call in the Karen Read murder trial Tuesday morning, before jury selection began in Norfolk Superior Court.

In the courtroom Tuesday, Judge Beverly Cannone warned potential jurors that it’s likely not all of the listed witnesses will be called — although she said the trial is expected to last six to eight weeks.
