Without missing a beat, Chris Martin and co. gave the fans exactly what they wanted, starting the show with crowd favorite “Yellow,” before moving on to “Higher Power” and “Adventure of a Lifetime.”

The group then brought out Victoria Canal to perform “Paradise.” Canal had already revealed during a conversation with NME that she once published an April Fool’s joke rolling stone a magazine cover she had made at university, which read “Victoria Canal wows Chris Martin”. The fake photo was spotted by a connection of Martin’s, and Canal indeed “blew away” the Coldplay frontman when he heard her music, eventually helping him sign to Parlophone.

After performing “Viva La Vida” with the Bolton String Orchestra, Coldplay brought out Little Simz – who had just destroyed the Pyramid Stage before their closing set – to perform a new, unreleased song “We Pray.” You can see footage of their collaboration below.

Later in the show, Coldplay performed their collaboration with BTS, “My Universe.” Although the K-pop group was not physically present, Martin sent them a message before projections of the South Korean group were displayed on the tip of the Pyramid stage. You can find more information about this performance here.

They also performed “Humankind” and “Fix You” with Michael J. Fox.
