Since last week’s Nintendo Direct, the company’s social media pages have been overworked promoting all of the new and upcoming releases. As usual, these same pages have also detailed some of the finer points of each game, and in the latest update, Nintendo shared a graphic of some of the elements that Zelda will use in its new release Echoes of Wisdom.
In case you missed the original announcement, “echoes” are imitations of things Zelda can find in the game’s environment. She’s able to do this with the help of the “Tri Rod” and her mysterious new fairy friend, Tri.
“Create echoes like blocks of water to reach new heights, build bridges from old beds, throw stones at your enemies or find your own creative combination of echoes to do things your way. You can even create monster echoes to fight alongside you in battle! »
“There are many Echoes to discover in The Legend of #Zelda: #EchoesofWisdom, and how you use them to solve puzzles and fight enemies is entirely up to you!”
Some other echoes spotted in the trailer include boxes, beds, trees, road signs, trampolines, and you can even summon echoes based on enemies. You can also use these echoes to reach new heights, fly, fight underwater, and much more!
