Some millennials and genres always opt to live with their parents, especially in the northeast and west.
A new analysis of the Pew Research Center examined where young Americans, aged 25 to 34, lived at the home of a parent in 2023; The cities of Texas, Florida and California had the highest actions of these inhabitants.
Five of the six metros with the highest shares were in California, with around a third of younger adults living in the home of a parent. Meanwhile, the Midwest and the South had the lowest shares of young adults living with parents.
