Here is the Bruins-Panthers second round playoff schedule

The first game between Boston and Florida is scheduled for Monday, May 6 at 8 p.m. It will be broadcast on ESPN.

The Bruins and Panthers meet again.

Boston sent TD Garden into a frenzy Saturday night by beating the Maple Leafs 2-1 in overtime in Game 7. By sending Toronto home in wild fashion in front of the Bruins faithful, Boston secured a ticket to the second round against a team with which it is familiar.

Florida upset the Bruins in the first round last year, knocking Boston out of the playoffs in Game 7 at the Garden. The Bruins blew a 3–1 series lead after winning the President’s Trophy in the regular season with an NHL record 135 points and 65 wins. The Panthers qualified for the playoffs as a wild card team with 92 points.

This time around, Boston is the underdog – Florida finished with one more point in the regular season (110) than Boston (109).

The Bruins will be looking for revenge and looking to take the lead in the first series as a road team.
