“The first day in particular, I played really, really solid. Yesterday was a bit more difficult, and today we played pretty well most of the rounds. It was a bit wobbly coming in. home, but we’ll take it at the end,” Stenson said.
Elsewhere, Phil Mickelson’s struggles continued as he finished near the bottom of the standings with a par-six on the tournament.
In the tag team competition, Stenson’s Majesticks GC, led by Lee Westwood, finished second to Johnson’s 4 Aces GC, who shot 25 under par to claim the $3 million prize.
The next LIV Golf event is scheduled to take place September 2-4 at The International’s Oaks Golf Course in Bolton, Massachusetts.
