Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor believes Manchester City could beat Liverpool on Sunday if full-back Kyle Walker returns to the side.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds travel to the Etihad for what will be the biggest game of the Premier League season.
The match is being labeled a title decider, with Liverpool on 72 points, just one behind Pep Guardiola’s men entering the tantalizing clash.
Agbonlahor, who made 391 appearances for Villa, scoring 87 goals, believes Walker back in City’s squad could help the hosts secure victory.
“Kyle Walker’s return will be huge,” he told talkSPORT.
“He will cover that half of the pitch. He’ll be like, ‘[Sadio] Mane, [Diogo] Jota, [Luis] Diaz, if any of you come, I’ll eat you.
“Liverpool will probably try to stay away from Walker because no one will get a change from him. [Kylian] Mbappe couldn’t, Neymar couldn’t.
“I feel like Walker is just one of those players. Even in the Euros for England, how many times has he sprinted and swept?

“So to get him back in the team, I’m going to put City favourites.”
Walker remained at Manchester City for the international break after being overlooked by Gareth Southgate for the England squad, despite the withdrawal of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Reece James through injury.
The 31-year-old is relishing the chance to face Klopp’s side on Sunday.
He compared the matches against Liverpool to a ‘game of chess’ and explained what will separate the two teams this weekend.
“It’s a matter of concentration,” the England right-back told The Daily Telegraph.
“It’s the mental side or a moment of genius that will probably separate the two teams. Concentration must be 100% for 90 minutes plus additional time. You can’t turn off for a second.
“A second of lack of concentration from a defender will, nine times out of 10, result in a goal given the players Liverpool have. It’s a game of chess. Who’s going to make the wrong choice first? A fake movement and it’s kind of game over.
City can win the treble, but if Walker had to choose between the Premier League or the Champions League, he revealed which he most wanted to get his hands on.
“I will get killed for saying that, but I would always say the Premier League. Simply because, having grown up in England, knowing what that means and how hard it is to win one… I look at some players who have won it countless times. Why can’t I go do this? “, he added.
