The declaration look was the perfect follow -up of its first look of the festival, a floral dress Elie Saab Couture, whose long train apparently violated the new rules which prohibit such details.
“Volumenous outfits, in particular those that have a large train, which hinder the appropriate flow of guest traffic and complicated seats in the theater are not allowed,” wrote the organizers in an updated charter. “The festival welcoming the teams will be forced to prohibit access to the red carpet to anyone who does not respect these rules.”

“I had an incredible dress from Gupta that I can’t wear tonight because it’s too big train,” Berry told the journalists during the opening evening. “I’m not going to break the rules.”
