Former world champion Boxer Saweety Boora aroused controversy after a shocking video surfaced on social networks showing her husband physically assaulting her husband, Kabaddi star Deepak Niwas Hooda, inside a police station in Hisar, Haryana. The incident would have taken place on March 15 in the midst of the current divorce procedures between the two high -level athletes.

The altercation would have taken place during a mediation session at the police station, where the two parties had gathered to discuss their current legal battle. Hooda later said that he was injured in the assault and accused Boora, as well as his father and his maternal uncle, of using abusive language and of using physical violence before the police. The couple made the knot in 2022.

The shocking allegations of Saweeety Boora

A few days after a video of her physically assaulting her husband, Boora, an Arjuna winner, held a press conference where she made surprising allegations on Hooda. The boxer alleged that she had endured immense mental and emotional tortures in the hands of Hooda. In addition, she said that if she were to die in all circumstances, Hooda should be held responsible.

Boora also allegedly alleged that Hooda was homosexual and that she had discovered explicit videos of him with other men. She said: “I didn’t want to say it all. He is interested in men. I saw the videos, and when I did it, I was shocked. I saw him with the guys. I didn’t want to reveal all these things, but this man does not correct himself. I have all the proofs and the videos, and I will present them. I wanted a simple divorce, but this man forced me.”

Boora also rejected the allegations according to which she had married Hooda for financial gains, alleging rather that she had supported him during her first years. She said: “He (Deepak) hadn’t even had a toilet at home when I met him for the first time in 2015. I had won many medals at the time, but he had not succeeded. If I had been after his richness, would I have agreed to be with him? ”

She also said that when Hooda had started to earn a summary sum of money in 2016 from the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), he made his income on his account to escape taxes, to withdraw funds later after she paid taxes on her behalf.
