The World Formula 1 world champion to seven times Lewis Hamilton would not have appreciated his stay in Ferrari, only three races in the 2025 season. Hamilton went from Mercedes to Ferrari at the start of the Formula 1 2025 season in one of the greatest movements in the history of sport.
However, things did not go as planned for the Briton Drive during the first three races. He finished 10th in the Australian Grand Prix before being disqualified at the Chinese Grand Prix. Disqualification was the result of excessive plates wear.
At the last Japanese Grand Prix, Hamilton arrived seventh. The 40 -year -old is currently eighth in the driver’s ranking with only 15 points and 47 behind Lando Norris from McLaren.
Hamilton dissatisfied with Ferrari’s inconsistency
One of the main problems with Ferrari this year is its limited operating window – it only works on its best than in very specific conditions involving configuration, temperature and track characteristics.
According to Bild, Hamilton is far from being satisfied with this. He could not make the most of his Ferrari in short gusts.
Hamilton, however, hopes that things will change at the next Bahrain Grand Prix. He recently revealed that Ferrari had improved his car.
“We have an upgrade this weekend, so I’m delighted that we are hopeful, having a little more support,” Hamilton told Sky Sports F1. “I don’t really feel a lot of problems, we lack overall performance at the moment, which we will take a step this weekend.
“For my part, it’s a bit back (I’m struggling with it) and that’s it.”
The Hamiton teammate, Charles Leclerc, is sixth in the driver’s ranking with 20 points.
By winning the 2025 season, Hamiton hopes to become the first pilot to win the title of Formula 1 eight times.
