England tennis star Jack Draper defended Jannik Sinner, a world n ° 1, who is currently serving a three -month ban due to doping. Defending the 23 -year -old sinner, Draper said that the Italian “deserves any of the hatred he gets” his detractors.

Defending the sinner, Draper, in a joint interview with the BBC and the Guardian, said: “When people ask about it, or someone, I will say the truth … I think Jannik is a really, really authentic, nice, and in addition to that, he is obviously an incredible player.
“As far as I am concerned, what I feel as a person as a person, I think it is important for people to know and recognize that the guy is very, very nice and a good human being, so he deserves any hatred he receives.”
It should be noted that Draper is quite close to Sinner and recently trained with him after his defeat at the Open of Monte Carlo.
“I was looking for training for the week, and I knew that Jannik was available and in Monte Carlo on the clay, so I organized with his team to go there for three or four days and to train with him … I mean, look, if you can train with someone, he must probably be the best in the world, right? It was great to be with him for a few days and get a good fight, “said Draper.
The sinner is expected to return to tennis during the Masters event in Rome next month.
