HCC Fourth Quarter Results | Net profit rises 22% to ₹246 crore

Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) announced on Friday May 24 a 22.12% increase in its consolidated net profit at 246.2 crores for the quarter ended March 2024. The company had earned a profit of 201.6 crore during the last year period, it said in a BSE filing.

Total income during the quarter under review amounts to 1,813.05 crores as compared to 2,437.23 crores a year ago. Total spending decreased to 2,073.33 crores as against 2,398.69 crores earlier. Over the entire financial year 2023-24, it recorded a consolidated net profit of 529.42 million. She suffered a net loss of 52.51 crore in FY23.

“We will settle for nothing less than rapid growth in our order book in FY25, without compromising on quality and profitability,” HCC Vice Chairman Arjun Dhawan said.

The company said in a statement that it completed the Nikachhu hydropower project in Bhutan in March 2024. In Mumbai, the company installed two arch bridges, connecting the coastal road with the Bandra Worli sea link.

In Package 3 of NH34 in West Bengal, all works have been completed and final commercial operation has been awarded for the final 9.8 kilometer stretch, HCC said. HCC Group, with a turnover of 7,007 crore, includes HCC Ltd, HCC Infrastructure Co Ltd and Steiner AG in Switzerland.

Shares of Hindustan Construction Company Ltd ended at ₹40.55, up ₹0.14, or 0.35 per cent on the BSE.
