Harvey Weinstein accuser Kaja Sokola says Weinstein boasted of making stars Gwyneth And Penélope Cruz – Just after having sexually assaulted it in adolescence.
Speaking Thursday at the Supreme Court of Manhattan, Kaja Sokola, 39, said that she wanted to shout after the alleged assault at 16, but Weinstein told her that she had to obey her and be silent if she wanted a career like the big stars he was appointed.
As for the alleged assault, Sokola said that Weinstein had picked her up for lunch, took her to his Soho loft in New York – and would have touched his vagina and had forced her to touch his penis in the bathroom before “ejaculate on the ground”.
She remembers looking in her eyes in the bathroom mirror – noting that they were black and frightening, and said that the film producer now now now warned that the alleged assault should stay between them if she wanted a success in biz like Gwyneth and Cruz.
Sokola testified that she was terrified by Weinstein, but still hoped that he would help her acting career – so she found her in 2004, where he would have attacked her a second time. She also testified about a 2006 incident, when Weinstein forced oral sex on her.
Weinstein was sentenced in 2020, but these convictions were launched after a court of appeal judged that his constitutional rights had been raped. Now the prosecutors are pursuing him again in a new trial. Sokola did not testify during the previous test.
