Harry Styles ‘ghosted’ Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall after his date

Well done to his ex.

Little Mix alum Jade Thirlwall has revealed Harry Styles “ghosted” her after just one date while he was on ‘The X Factor’.

“We were like 16 or something,” she said on Tuesday’s episode of “The Louis Theroux Podcast” on Spotify.

Thirlwall explained that the date happened shortly after Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson formed their boy band, One Direction, during the British music competition in 2010.

“And then as soon as they participated in concerts, he didn’t answer me,” she remembers.

“I was like, ‘That’s it now. He left. He succeeded.’

However, after Thirlwall rose to fame with fellow Little Mix bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock on the following season of “The X Factor,” Styles demanded she apologize.

“I saw him…and he said, ‘I’m so sorry for ignoring you,'” she recalled.

Podcast host Louis Theroux put it more bluntly, telling Thirlwall, “He ghosted you.” »

“Yeah,” the “Angel of My Dreams” singer conceded. “I was so young. It didn’t really matter.

Thirlwall, 32, went on to call Styles, 30, “very talented” and “very charming,” noting that she harbors no ill will toward the “As It Was” crooner these days.

Styles then met future “X Factor” host Caroline Flack, Taylor Swift, Kendall Jenner, model Camille Rowe and his “Don’t Worry Darling” co-star and director Olivia Wilde, among other stars.

The Grammy winner was recently romantically linked to actress Taylor Russell, but Page Six confirmed in May 2024 that the couple had split after a year together.

Thirlwall, for her part, has dated “Britain’s Got Talent” alum Sam Craske and Struts bassist Jed Elliott.

The “It Girl” singer is currently dating rapper and actor Jordan Stephens.
