Harry Kane responds to Arsenal fans chanting anti-Tottenham song during live TV interview

Harry Kane had a cheeky response to Arsenal fans hanging around the Emirates Stadium singing anti-Tottenham chants at him.

The Bayern Munich star scored a penalty in a 2-2 draw against Arsenal in the dramatic first leg of their Champions League tie.

It was his first appearance in north London since leaving Tottenham last year for Bayern and the Gunners faithful were eager to give him a proper farewell when he did his post- game on TNT Sports.

As he spoke to Laura Woods, Rio Ferdinand and Martin Keown, Arsenal fans behind the camera could be heard chanting: “What do we think of Tottenham? Shit. What the f*** do we think? Tottenham.”

The noise almost drowned out the interview with Kane, who had to speak louder to be heard, but when Woods asked him about Arsenal fans, the striker replied: “I think they have a sweet respect for me.”

Arsenal came out of the traps against Bayern Munich and were well worth their early lead through Bukayo Saka.

However, a minute to forget followed as Ben White missed a keeper and a defensive error saw Serge Gnabry equalize.

Another calamity at the back saw Leroy Sane slide towards goal unchallenged before William Saliba brought him down in the box.

Kane was handed penalties and, as often before, he easily slotted it home to score his 15th goal against Arsenal.

The 30-year-old added: “It was one when I did some research on his games against Porto.

“It was nice to see (David Raya) go early and make my job easier.

“It was a difficult match. Of course we are never happy when we don’t win.

“You’ve seen over the last couple of years, Arsenal have tried hard to win the league and they’re top of the league for a reason.

There was another twist in the story when Leandro Trossard came off the bench to equalize late on, but there could have been more for the Gunners.

In the fifth minute of stoppage time, Saka rushed at goal only for Manuel Neuer to appear to bring him down, but the referee decided not to award a penalty.

The decision proved controversial, with some agreeing with the referee and others shocked.
