Harry Brook should be unveiled as a new T20 Captain in England, with Ben Stokes always the favorite choice as a skipper of a day after the resignation of Jos Buttler.
Mail Sport revealed for the first time four weeks ago that the Managing Director Rob Key planned the dual bold meeting.
He would see the 26 -year -old Brook – who led the team for one day of England against Australia last September – intensifying to take care of the T20 team before the next year World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.
Key also wanted to persuade one day retirement stokes.
However, England is still trying to determine whether its body can withstand pressure in a year which includes series of five tests against India and Australia.
If they opt for caution, Brook could also support the 50 -year team.
