Happy Horton Day-ish, Kelly, Devers, Rizzo, Joe and other cubs chips

Last chance to make your plans for Mother’s Day if you haven’t done it yet. Do something good for mom (s) in your life. A home card still plays, no matter your age.

  • Good day of Cade Horton! Well, probably. Cubs are difficult when Horton really appears, because it is Brad Keller who starts this evening in New York. But if they activate Horton for the game, then you know that they expect it to be toned, probably as pork-dos on Keller (There is no way that Cubs use Horton as a real lifter during his first call, after never having done it before). As I said in this post, I understand the justification to go in this way with Horton, but I fear that the potential advantages can be compensated by Monkeying with what is normal for a young launcher who has never left the enclosure of the readers before.
  • I would add that, speaking only as a fan, it stinks a little that a little media / fun / shine threw is removed from the beginnings of Cade Horton by the fact that this is not a start, and we do not even know when it could enter the game. Again, I understand why the cubs do it. And the plan could work wonderfully, which I would celebrate. But I would like to be excited for Pitch One, you know? We have impatiently planned the arrival of Horton in the big leagues for years now.
  • Find out more about the development of Horton here at The Athletic. I hope that we will come in time that, although it is never good to undergo a serious injury, Horton has obtained a long-term development value to work in the stump of sub-scapularis from last year. And more here of Horton and Cubs on the call. It is well deserved, and we know very well how this guy could contribute to the CUBS 2025, in one way or another.
  • Carson Kelly removed a field of his fingers (he swung, he hit him on his fingers) during the 4th round last night, stayed in the match for several heats, but did not take his final in the stick. The game was not such an eruption that you would see that the recipient came out for a brujan vidal striker like a normal rest, so I wonder if he felt a little something. I hope this is not a real problem, because we know how important Kelly’s bat has become.

“A large part of Henry’s message in Devers,” said Breslow, revolved around being a good teammate.

“We had the impression that it was important on the basis of the situation that took place yesterday to come here and having an honest conversation on what we appreciate as an organization and what we think is important for the Boston Red Sox – who being large teammates for each other. We think we had a productive conversation,” said Breslow.

“Depending on the way things went very public yesterday, there was an opportunity to solve this problem and strengthen what we think is important, which was important for this property group, which is important for players, staff and the front office. We were able to do it and, obviously, Raffy is a very important and important part of this team. I think that is important that these things are addressed.”

Breslow explained what he considered a good teammate.

“The number one is an honest and open with communication,” he said. “It is to recognize when there is an opportunity to intensify when it is necessary that the group be put above any individual achievement or accomplishment. It is important to strengthen what we want to accomplish. ”

  • Am I misinterpreted, or do they say that they essentially told Devers that he had to think of the team and do what is requested? I really wonder where it ends up going, because I do not know that it would be so easy to negotiate deours (and its contract – especially after all) for a real value.
  • Anthony Rizzo tries his hand to the studio:
  • Regarding the game, it does not seem that Rizzo is very interested, including Red Soxs who currently have a hole in the first goal.
  • The Reds have acquired Connor Joe des Padres, which is a nightmarish scenario for a team of cubs which has finished playing the paadres for the season but has not yet started playing the Reds. Joe is not quite at the level of the Eugenio Suarez of a bizarrely extreme cubs killer, but he is definitely in this next level.
  • PCA is a stud, part 8,000:
  • Yeah, yeah, yeah, blessed is sweet or something like that:
