Barcelona was held in a frustrating 1-1 draw with Real Betis on Saturday at La Liga in a match which came only a few hours after the Real Madrid title rivals were beaten by Valence.
It looks like a missed opportunity for Barcelona, although the results mean that the Catalan giants end the day now four points ahead of Real Madrid.
Hansi Flick certainly thought of the League table when he thought about the performance of his team in Montjuic.
“I told the players that there was still one match and we have one more point,” he said.
“I find myself with the fact that the team gave everything and tried to score another goal, but that was not the case. We were unlucky in front of the goal. I am satisfied with what I saw in the second half.
“The days you don’t score, you have to accept it. You have to think positively. I’m clear that we have tried everything.”
“I seem positive. This is another point. It’s April, and we are in a good position. We must continue. “
Barça is now paying attention from the Liga to the Champions League and a quarter -final with Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
