Hamburg police interrupt swinger party for non-compliance with anti-Covid-19 measures – RT en français

Their pleasure was cut short. German police intervened to put an end to a swinger party in Hamburg, Germany. The participants did not respect the health measures to fight against Covid-19.

The Hamburg police put an end to a swinger party, according to several overseas media, in a residential building where nearly 70 participants were gathered. In question, the non-compliance with the health measures put in place to fight against Covid-19 and in particular … social distancing. No form for tracing participants had been completed either.

According to the police, the intervention, which took place shortly before midnight, took place in peace and all the participants were very “cooperative”. They have been sent home and face a fine, as has the organizer of the evening. In Hamburg, as in much of Germany, it is mandatory to wear a mask and maintain distances when gathering more than ten people indoors. It is also imperative to present a negative test at the entrance and the organizer must ensure that the contact details of the participants are collected to allow follow-up in the event of contamination. All these rules were probably not applied during the swingers party.

At a time when the vaccination campaign is slowing, Germany is worried about a fourth wave of the pandemic, even if the resurgence of infections caused by the highly contagious Delta variant remains more moderate than in most of its neighbors. As of July 30, the country recorded 2,454 new cases in 24 hours and 30 deaths, with a seven-day incidence rate of 17.
