The Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, revealed on Sunday an intelligence document showing that the leaders of Hamas Yahya Sinwar and Muhammad Deif had sent a letter to the Iranian commander of IRGC QUDS Force Esmail Qaani in June 2021, seeking support for the plans of the terrorist group to invade Israel, who was finally transported on October 7, 2023.
“I present here for the first time a document which was found in the tunnels of the senior officials of Hamas in Gaza, which proves a direct relationship between Iran and Yahya Sinwar and Muhammad Deif, as part of the support of Iran in the plan of Hamas to destroy Israel,” Katz said in a video declaration.
The declaration was recorded during a visit to the unit of so -called information and technical loots of the Directorate of Military Intelligence – known by its Hebrew acronym, “AMShat”.
“In the document, they (the leaders of Hamas) ask the commander of the commander of the (Islamic) force of the body of the revolutionary body guard to transfer $ 500 million to destroy the state of Israel,” he said.

The document shows that Hamas has requested $ 20 million a month from Iran over two years, “to achieve these major objectives, through which we will change the face of the world”.
“We are convinced that at the end of these two years, or during them, to God, we want to uproot this monstrous entity, and we will finish this dark period in the history of our nation,” said the letter.

Saeed Izadi, the head of the Palestinian Division of the IRGC, “accepted the request and replied that Iran, despite its difficult economic situation and the fate of the Iranian population, will continue to channel money to Hamas, because the fight against Israel and the United States is the absolute priority of the Iranian regime,” said Katz.
The Minister of Defense added that “the conclusion is clear: Iran is the leader of the serpent, and despite all its refusals, it finances and also advances terror in all areas, of Gaza, by Lebanon, Syria, Judea and Samaria (Cisjordania) and now with the Houthis in Yémen, under the desire to destroy Israel.”
“Israel will do everything possible to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and will continue to hit its proxies in the region until Iranian evil is crushed and defeated,” Katz said.
Dozens protest against Hamas in Jabalia, while Israeli strikes continue
Meanwhile, the media in Gaza reported a demonstration to Jabalia in the north of Gaza on Sunday, with dozens of demonstrators chanting “Hamas are terrorists” and “Hamas are garbage”.
Two weeks ago, there were several consecutive days of anti-hamas and anti-war demonstrations in Gaza, followed by information that the terror had killed some of the demonstrators. The demonstrations were interrupted for a period, although they returned last week with a demonstration in northern Gaza.

The Ministry of Health managed by Gaza said on Sunday that Israeli bombings since Saturday evening had killed at least four people in the Jabalia refugee camp.
The ministry figures cannot be verified and they are not distinguished between civilians and combatants.
Israel said he was looking to minimize civilian deaths and stresses that Hamas uses civilians from Gaza as human shields, fighting civil zones, including houses, hospitals, schools and mosques.
According to Nasser Hospital, who said he received the bodies.
A journalist would have been among the people killed. “My daughter is innocent. She had no involvement, she loved journalism and adored her,” said woman’s mother, Amal Kaskeen.
“Trump wants to end the Gaza problem. He is in a hurry, and that’s clear this morning,” said Mohammad Abdel-Hadi, a woman’s cousin.
The bodies of five, including a child and three women, arrived at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital in Deir al-Balah, in the center of Gaza, according to a journalist from Associated Press.

The war in Gaza began on October 7, 2023, when some 5,600 terrorists led by Hamas invaded southern Israel, killing some 1,200 people and taking 251 in the enclave as hostages.
Terrorist groups in the band still hold 59 hostages, 24 of which are considered alive, while 35 were confirmed dead by the FDI.
Israel restarted the intense bombing of Gaza on March 18, then launched a new offensive on the ground, breaking a cease-fire of almost two months in the war with Hamas.
Under the terms of the ceasefire agreement of January 19, the parties were to launch negotiations during the second phase a few weeks after the first, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to do so, insisting that the war would not end until the governance and military capacity of Hamas would not have been demolished.
Meanwhile, the terrorist group rejected a series of offers to extend the first phase of the truce.
